I've had a balcony at most of the places I've ever lived, all of which, bar one, have been in Norway so I've never had much use for the damn things.
Then to business....I've got an Ae boot from Manchester (probably 97/98) that opens with Bike and then goes into an unbelievably funky hip-hop style track. Does anyone know anything about that track? I know it's not on any of the Warp albums or EP's, but from the crowd noise it sounds like everybody knows the track. Is it some kind of live show classic, or has it been obscurely released somewhere?
Apart from that, I remember ages ago hearing something about an IDM locker at myplay.com, does this thing still exist and what to I have to do to get access?
While I'm here.....I saw Ae in Rome in April and was really surprised by how dancefloor-friendly it was. Sure, the beats where bouncing off the floor, but few people had a hard time dancing to it. I was slightly disappointed by the show, but luckily Confield sounds a lot better. Then there's the new Plaid which so far I have found disappointing, but their show last week in Bergen, Norway was brilliant.
