pfft, Now that I've read the reviews of several Ae shows I'm skeptical about going to the LA gig on Sat. What interests me most is that I've seen various peeps says "I saw Ae last night in _____ and it was boring..." and later "...anyone who MD'd it, can I have a copy...." WAIT a minute if it was so boring why do you want a copy? I guess if you're going to the LA gig on Sat you prolly better off recording the ride up to the El Rey. traffic noise will prolly be more entertaining if the reviews are accurate. Peeps keep talking about it not being Ae and just noisey crap, but will someone like me who's recently become a fan of glitch noisey stuff enjoy it at all??? My wife is comming along. She can't stand glitchy stuff, most of you can't stand these Ae performances, ya think she'll make it past the 2nd song (longer than Joshua Brown?) I dunno, I'm afraid that my drive from San Diego will be a waste. Shit, my old pal Hess posted a bad review of the Seattle gig. He and I usually met somewhere in the middle on music tastes and if he's saying it was bad, geez, it's gotta be baaaaaaaaaaad. Hmm.. well now I just gotta see this crap for myself. However, I still have a feeling I'll love Confeild. I haven't d/l'd the mp3's nor have I bought it yet.... we'll see if the show makes it or breaks it for Ae in my music library...I hope your reviews don't affect my night. gilly (not bothering about an MD for this show) "Anything that separates us is junk. If she's not a fan of glitchy stuff, she'll hate it. At least if it's anything like the Boston show. I fucking loved it, but I didn't try to get any of my friends to come with me. I have learned not to take anyones opinion seriously, not even my best friends, cause there tends to be that one difference that I end up enjoy something they didn't like, sometimes I have even hated what they all liked. Anyway, my point being, I am ignoring all comments made on previous shows to construct my own opinion. If it is anything like the songs I have downloaded, I am highly interested to see how they do it. on 5/17/01 11:33 PM, Gilly at galaxey@sdccu.net wrote:

The show is boring to stand there and watch. It's interesting to listen to though. Can't really see ever going to another Autechre show... I'll be skipping the Florida dates this coming week. I'll just settle for what comes out of my cd player/amp. .`-). christopher miller o o.' evil@fdt.net == ' on: Optocode _Hello People_ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
