Doing my bit to improve the SNR around here...
This record was released a couple of weeks ago, but it
hasn't left my turntable since.
Mr Projectile's section on mp3.com gives a pretty good
idea of what to expect from this. Definitely one for people
who like the Post - Artificial Intelligence kind of sound.
I think 'Capcavernal' has to be one of the best things I've
heard this year. Progresses beautifully, with subtle beats
yet a very appealing rhythm to the whole thing. Layering of
melodies and vocal sounds. Brilliant.
'Lulwample' is the other standout track for me. I think it
appeared on one of the Toytronic compliations a while back.
Leans towards the more abstract side of the LP, while
maintaining the all important rhythm and melody. Its got
these electronic ripping/tearing sounds all over the top
of it.
