You've got to be into the series to get the whole story unfortunately, but its worth it. Sometimes I can't grasp how David Lynch gets such remarkable performances out of completely mediorce actors. And musicians... For the past 20 years my favourite Lynch movie has remained Eraserhead, great images, great music and atmosphere. The kind of movie which change you... And I do not agree with the "mediocre actors and musicians"... philippe <---------------------------------------------------------------------> http://www.bip-hop.com ambient landscapes, creative and melodic musica... SPACEHADS and MAX EASTLEY : the time of the ancient astronaut [bleep 04] A world of high opera and tipsy beats that then cascades with a metallic pounding. Haunting trumpet melodies over soft drones and textures sets the mood. The music takes on cinematic proportions as the terrain unfolds. Interstellar landscapes are revealed. MAX EASTLEY plays The Arc. A nine foot long mono chord. One string stretched over wood and played with a bow or glass rods. The pitch is changed by flexing the wood. The string can also be shortened with clips. It is then fed into electronic effects. The SPACEHEADS is a duo mixing trumpet and electronics with drums and percussion. Plaintive trumpet calls are looped across pulsing beats that propel us into sheets of metal crashing and vibrating through tiny pick ups cranked to the full and then spun into electronic webs. <--------------------------------------------------------------------->

The most terrible movie I ever seen! =80 It made me almost puke in the middle and I tuned it off! I never had regrets about it as I was told that in the end of the movie he finally splits his baby with garden pruner... great for suicidal tendencies, though. Alien np. V/A - Snow Robots (Suction)

Elephant Man walks all over Eraserhead. - wells oliver || wells@submute.net "I wouldn't know because I don't read, but I'll tell you one thing for sure: I wouldn't trust no words written down on no piece of paper especially from no Dickinson out in the town of Machine. "Wild at heart" is pretty weak, i think... Shocking sometimes, but overall it's not his best work. I prefer Eraserhead & Lost Highway. Eraserhead owns! ;-) One of the best movies of all time, and Lynch's best with Blue Velvet a close second. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
