Wouldn't it be easier to have a message board everyone could post at? I'm getting sick of opening all these fucking emails, it takes forever. Plus, we wouldn't have to worry so much about off topic posts, we could just ignore them, right? _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

oof, you actually read everything posted? that's quite a volume of mail to go through. i just have ms outlook throw everything from the idmlist into a subfolder of the inbox, and read what piques my interest when i have time.. otherwise, the volume'd be completely unmanageable for me. i'm going to guess that hotmail doesn't have such an option, but you should try and look into it. makes things much easier

try setting up a filter, where anything with "[idm]" in the subject goes into a new folder. then just scan for what you want, without fucking up & losing all your normal e-mails. --- jacob lewandowski <dolefactory@hotmail.com> wrote:

Because message boards suck ass. No matter how interesting they are, I stop reading them after a week because: A) the interface sucks B) the web was not made for applications C) they get archived on search engines D) they get trolled by spammers for e-mail addresses E) procmail is easy to configure F) mail comes to me G) mutt crashes a lot less often than netscape H) people can't use annoyin fonts and colors in plain text mail I could keep going. -- :: atomly :: atomly@atomly.com | atomly@atdot.org | atomly@curiousnetworks.com http://www.atomly.com | http://www.mp3.com/atomly --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Why do you open every e-mail? I only open those whose topics interest me. I open maybe 1/3 of the e-mail that come through this list and I delete the rest, sight unseen. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
