I have to agree with you on this one. I saw the name mentioned once on this list, then saw a release in the store while it was still fresh in my head. It really is amazing. Beats are hard and chunky which contrasts nicely with the tracks that are a little more atmospheric. Definitely thought-provoking. One of those where you just nod your head and think to yourself "this is a keeper". And I believe this is their first release, so I'm looking forward to more. Another disc tearing me up right now would be from While "Even". It's kind of difficult to speak about While because it is a strange word to have in the middle of a sentence. Maybe someone else can try. Very solid release. It's nice to see some new artists starting off with such a solid sound. Most of our favorites have taken years to perfect their sound, so I give credit to Jetone & While. actually, While has been around for quite awhile. i'm pretty sure that the seek EP on MAS was his first release, and that came out in april of '99. i just finally got a copy of it last week, and it's really nice. other releases that he's had for chocolate industries are: lock (chlt008) 2000 haze (chlt009) 2000 slip (chlt019) 2000 slip is kinda cool because it's four new tracks, and then each of those tracks are remixed by folks like fennesz, agrape dope, savath + savalas, and while himself. check it out. alan! np:freeform:glob On Fri, 27 Apr 2001, Rob Salit wrote:
