Okay, so after listening to Confield several times, it's starting to grow on me, and after trying to challenge the way I listen to music, I had to detach myself from anything I ever knew about autechre. I am actually starting to like this album a lot. It is definitely the darkest thing that I have ever heard from them. that's *exactly* what I thought after the first 5 listenings. but now, after a week or so, it already starts to sound more human and I discover something new everytime I hear it. great great album, I think I like it more than LP5 and EP7. »Eikman« -] http://www.eikman.net [- ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter Schrock To: anyone and everyone and Sent: Saturday, April 28, 2001 11:49 AM Subject: [idm] not to beat a dead horse... Yeah, you know, on that note, I've been listening to this 50-grade piece of sandpaper on my turntable for about a week now, and, you know, I gotta admit, the more I listen to it, the more used to it I get... m@2zo www.thechisa.com "Like David said in the 23rd Psalm, 'Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.'
