i think when i saw the Twin in Las Vegas a few years back (1997?) mr. Vibert was DJ'n before the show. I recall digging it at the time though i don't really think the DJing was a performance as much as it was pre-show tunes to bring your buzz on. Maybe it wasn't luke - but at least it wasn't trance. ;) pink ps to answer your question - if said dj was indeed luke he was pretty avg. pps no offense luke.

I saw him with DJ Krush in SF a few years, he played some hiphop & stuff, it wasn't very good. I'll give him another chance. I love his music, so maybe he'll treat us. Depends what you call average. I've seen Luke on numerous occasions, and have not been disappointed. If he is just behind the turntables, you could expect a decent mix of just about anything, chilling out playing pool at dedbeat I experienced excellent funky beats. However, if he's got any electro-gadgetry with him (excuse the technical term), you will be blown away. Again at dedbeat, this time in the main hall, I witnessed an expert layering down superb electro beats, using filters and kills with precision and finesse.
