not really, I mean, I like speedy j and there is very little melody, if any,
in his music. I have been listening to confield on a daily basis since I
have gotten it off of napster. now, granted, it might not be them, but I
am most positive it is. what I am hearing is definitely a level of
progression on their part, I just feel like there is something missing. I
mean, there is some stuff on EP7 that I still cannot get into.
As far as the melody not being present in IDM, how would you explain most of
Aphex Twin, there is melody in almost every song RDJ does.
I don't think it's the lack of melody that bothers me, it just seems like
something is missing.
