I'm surprised no one's mentioned this album since its release about a month ago. It's quite a brilliant album. It may not necessarily go out of its way to make cutting edge chaotic landscapes like our Warp-ed brothaz and sistaz... but there's enough of that sense of humor and melody that was so well done on his last album "448 Deathless Days" to make this one of the albums of the year, certainly. Anyone else have opinions of it? Guest appearances range from Bliss Blood (formerly in Pain Teens) to Greg Freeman (Pell Mell, Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 recorder, and... um, the Call) to Kim Thayil (Soundgarden). Why didn't Sub Pop release this in vinyl? ======================================================================= Brian MacDonald <brianm@kuci.org> ======================================================================= --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

The album is getting better with new listenings. It's really good, although I am still waiting for something even better (I hope...). With Pan Sonic "Aaltopiiri" it's the best IDM album of the year, so far. ----- Original Message ----- From: Brian MacDonald <brianm@kuci.org> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Thursday, April 19, 2001 7:42 PM Subject: [idm] Steve Fisk "999 Levels of Undo"
