Final Scratch finally sees the light of day: http://finalscratch.com/ I notice though that the site doesn't mention what OS the software runs on. It used to be BeOS and I'm betting it still is. Regardless of how good that OS is in absolute terms I think that detracts from it's appeal a great deal, who wants to install a new OS just to run one piece of software. I was under the impression that BeOS just sits in a directory in your existing OS filesystem and simply upon running an executable, it kicks out the existing OS and loads BeOS. Magic! Hey New York- Face it- it's Monday, you have no money to spend on gobs of new records, and you need to come dancing tonight because your jeans are getting to tight and the gym is BORING!!!! There's not even anything good on TV tonight- Monday sucks- so on your way home tonight- transfer to the "L" train and get off at Bedford and come join the party for an hour or two. Tonight we're having CFUS spin electronic landscapes, and LEN is going to make us sweat it out with old school Techno- the good shit. Adesh and I will be playing all of our new cool records: Phonem, Crunch, Christian Vogel, Bomb the Base, as well as some Delarosa/Asora, and Team Doyobi [which we can't get enough of] We'll be at Level X from 7:30 untill 1am- Directions: 1. Take the "L" to to Beford. 2. Take the RIGHT HAND Staircase 3. Walk towards and cross Bedford Ave. 4. Walk 1 block to Berry 5. Make a Left. 6. Walk 1 block to N.6th 7. Make a Right 8. Walk 20 ft- enter the pink bar 9. Order a drink, and some takeout Japanese food from Planet Thai with us. We'll also be throwing in some Punk Rock for good measure.
