Greetings,
Melange would like to do more performances, especially in the
NYC area, at some different electronic music (techno, drum n
bass, trance, ambient? experimental?) nights or events. Our
music is generally described as "intelligent dance music" or IDM
but there are many various elements... better heard than
described.
We have performed primarily at "industrial" nights and some
other clubs (as well as last fall's CMJ fest.) but we really feel our
music is too limited by this category, and we'd like to do some
events where more people like to dance :)
We are flexible; we can perform as an electronic "band" or with
more of a 'DJ' style setup and more limited gear- and do a
continuous set. We are generally available, and although we are
in the process of booking a NE coast "tour" for late May/early
June, the dates are not finalized yet.
