I'd just like to let whoever is really new to this list know that toast & jam music is tops - check out Zooid, Chim Chim and ML, they are all fantastic artists. so head straight over to members.nbci.com/headphone/ and check it all out. They've inspired me to do a similar operation up here in Canada. So far with alectric records (records.hellothisisalex.com / www.hellothisisalex.com) I've been having a lot of fun and learning a lot about the underground in music. I'm not doing it for money, so all the frustration that would come from not making any is gone. :) It's that easy. I would say the only suggestions for people wanting to start labels is this--if you're wanting to make money, save yourself the trouble and don't start, because your chances are slim. If you're doing this because you want to have fun, go for it. that's my two cents, (worth probably less), but that's it, Mark

yes, ML is indeed impressive. "seven" reviewed its latest release a while ago: http://www.nezzwerk.com/seven/reviews/album_review.php?id=484 -- =anton= http://www.nezzwerk.com/seven --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
