Picked up "Making Orange Things" yesterday. I've tried 3 times, and have made it through 2 tracks before being forced to turn it off! Jesus Christ is all I can say. Also got the new T-Power - He's the "Mutant Jazz" fella, isn't he? No sure on it though, some is good, but .... dunno. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

So its good? I really like Greg Hates Car Culture, the one with the strange title like printf("shiver in eternal darkness" and the salt ep. And I also love Welcome to whatever that word is by speedranch. Is this more speedranch than vsnares or more vsnares than speedranch?

welcome to execrate is the speedranch^jansky noise album. they have samples up at www.planet-mu.com in the discography section. you can definitely hear the speedranch in these tracks :) both artists are pretty noisy, so i have no clue which is more present on this album. but if you like speedranch it sounds like you'll love this. cheers, /derek At 09:34 AM 2/12/2001 -0500, Jeremy Axon wrote:

- - - - - Alice could not help her lips curing up into a smile as she began: "Do you know, I always thought Unicorns were fabulous monsters, too! I never saw one alive before!" "Well, now that we HAVE seen each other," said the Unicorn, "if you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you. Is that a bargain?" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

It's somewhere in between the two. It's more gabber/straight up than Aaron's normal stuff but and a little more beat oriented than Speedranch's stuff. I like all the tracks I've heard off it but I still think that "Greg Hates Car Culture" (and in particularl "Personal Discourse") is the best material Aaron's ever done. It's definitely worth picking up, though and you should also pick up his 7 inch that is supposed to have I believe Defluxion and Boarded Up Swan Entrance on it since Defluxion owns. But more than anything, get Low Res 7 (www.lowres.com) because it fucking owns. There are some amazing tracks on that. Fuck that, buy any Low Res you can find (especially Low Res 6 (the Midwest Untouchables comp) and the new D13 mix CD) -- :: atomly :: atomly@atomly.com | atomly@atdot.org | atomly@curiousnetworks.com http://www.atomly.com | http://www.mp3.com/atomly --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
