Hello. Does anyone else out there have a cat who's into IDM? Before anyone suggests I'm barking (or meeowing) mad, my cat appears to have a strange liking for electronica. If I'm around the house with no music on, my cat will just take up residence on another bed/sofa in the house. But the moment I stick some IDM on (my hifi being located in my room), she'll wander in, curl up on my bed and fall asleep whilst the speakers are thumping out all sorts of noise. My cats don't react at all to any electronic music I play....they probably like rock....they do have an affinity however for the warm synths in my studio...... My parent's dog would go apeshit and start barking at the sampled voices in the speakers during Ministry's "So What." He never reacted to any other song. Unfortunately my CD is with a friend and I don't remember the title of the song. It's track number 7, that I'm sure, and there are cats singing in that song!!! If you don't know the track, look for it. BTW, I love that album by Messer für Frau Müller, it's very creative and original.
