you know a good rap song that sounds like IDM? Three 6 Mafia's "Sippin On
Some Syrup"...it's so damn sweet. cut-up vocals, childlike melody, cheesy
bass, hip-hop beats. i bet autechre produced it.............which brings me
to the next paragraph.
autechre's ep7 is an ep because it doesn't have much continuity; no cohesion.
lp5 is just as fucked-up/complex, and better if you ask me. whereas lp5 has
a song like "rae" that can serve as the crux of the album, ep7 has no center.
i'd love to hear an lp with a song like "liccflii" or "zeiss contarex" at
the heart of it. everyone thinks autechre sucked with ep7........hehe
no more blabbering about shit no one will reply to anyway.
