Im trying to hook my pc up to my stereo, i have a lead going from the soundcard with 2 phono plugs into the external in sockets. All im getting is a low feedback type buzzing - does anyone know what the hell im doing wrong ????? Any help much appreciated, before i tear the rest of my hair out. cheers, grant.

I have heard that noise when I had my 'ins' and 'outs' mixed up. Double check where the RCA cables come from and where they go to. If that does not clear it up, you may have a really bad grounding issue.
