Wow! I forgot about Spool. That CD is fucking amazing. Jim Ridenour from Chicago teamed up with him for that one.Beautiful combination of acustic drums and synthetic work. I especially like the instrumental guitar on the last track. So sweet and soooo feel good - I've put that track on loop for over an hour once. You all just HAVE to hear it. What else did he do? P.s. The artwork on the cd is very appealing as well. NP: Spool - Spool At 1/12/01 2:10:00 PM you wrote:

I don't know about any more of jhno's music but he has the honor of owning copy #1 of MSP. He has written many good MSP and pluggo objects/plugins. There is an interview with him on the Cycling 74 website. -l on 1/11/01 4:16 PM, ---(SunspOt)... at sunspot@subdimension.com wrote:

Speaking of Spool what ever happened to them? I too saw them and picked up the disc at the show. Listening to it is almost as seeing them live. Do you know if they put anything else out or if any of the members have any side projects. I just realized that I have both the Arovane and Spool disc here with me at work. I don't think that I've given Arovane a good listen yet so I can't comment on the similarities. (c) At 02:10 PM 01/12/2001 -0800, interdit wrote:

You're right. Very Spool-like. The Arovane disc doesn't flow quite as nicely as the Spool one does. The Spool disc is more of an "experience" for me as I'm sure it is for other Spool fans. Again, very nicely done. I'd love to hear another release from them or catch them live. - Chris At 03:53 PM 01/12/2001 -0800, interdit wrote:
