Hey thanks for these. Water Planet is extremely nice, very light and graceful sounding. That lead perfectly splits the difference between Warp, Detroit and trance to great effect. This one fits in nicely with these too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKVJmcDbH2A On Sat, Dec 19, 2015 at 1:55 AM, Laurent Knauth <laurent.knauth@gmail.com> wrote:

I mostly agree with your analysis, but not that much with your link as i don't really get *Carl Craig* overall. To me, the whole thing is more related to what i call the «monosynth» vibe, which is how i rate the *G-Strings* sound that you probably know by heart — now of course this is Chicago and not Detroit, but the sweet and sober tone is what matters to me : *https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TccEptvVwb8 <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TccEptvVwb8>* On Wed, Dec 23, 2015 at 4:48 PM, Chris Taylor <christaylor415@gmail.com> wrote:

Sorry mate, this other *Psyche *track doesn't talk to me either — even though it fits the «cheap velvet» tone we're after indeed. In fact, i like *Elements *and *Galaxy *from *Psyche/Bfc*, both of which being quite off-topic right now. That said, since you enjoyed *Water Planet* and just in case you wouldn't know them already, here are a couple of other favorites that you might be interested in, although none of them sound as unexpected as *Water Planet* does. Both of them were released on *F Communications *in 1994. • *Ludovic «Saint Germain» Navarre *as *D.S. (Deepside) * *June*https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUHCmMNjQkw (i do regret that *Ludovic Navarre *isn't inclined to make «techno» anymore, as i always had the feeling that he would make the 909 grooving like noone else. Plus he had «that» melancholy) • *Laurent Garnier & Pascal F.E.O.S.* as *Dune* *Will i dream ?* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4FWoyKCAUs Sweet dreams everybody !
