I've information noting that these covers of David Bowie and James Brown ("Superbad") are Atom (Heart) under yet another moniker. Will someone confirm this? Lancebot? Really digging the new Jake Mandell (on Carpark) and Pan_Sonic...they are both wonderful achievements. The Geez 'n' Gosh album, "My Life With Jesus", is out on Mille Plateaux. That track is the most accessible and housey of them. The rest of the tracks are more or less in that style, although sort of jerkier, 'cos it's a sort of Atom Heart-does-gospel concept album. Overall it sounds quite like Herbert, but with gospel vocal samples. I love it, one of favourites of the year.
