While playing back MP3's in Winamp, the volume control jumps to its preset at the beginning of each track, regardless of where I manually put it. Is there any way of globally governing the volume output (other than turning up the amp to 11?) This becomes a problem when dumping MP3's to cassette (yes, okay - antiquated technology, but I love it for the car!) and I have to sit and re-adjust the volume for each incoming track, rather than just pull a whole lot into the playlist and let the tape run. Where - during the ripping process? - does one determine the final playback volume anyway? I don't recall ever seeing that option. PS : I'm not Napsterising :-) I * --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
