I obtained a mp3 from a friend named 'Bluevoc' (file name with no more info on the mp3 ID tag). I believe that he said that is was by someone named (scratching head) datathief? I have played this song about a quarter billion times and I was wondering if anyone had more info on other songs (etc). It is, indeed, by Datathief, who are simply splendid. hey jordan! it is for sure datathief! a VERY nice track. if you can find it, check out the jega remix of datathief that came out on v/vm. oh my lord -- i love it! (much harder than bluevoc, but just as well produced!). the datathief song on the 0161 compilation and the one that came out on pitch cadet (i think?) are groovy too!! chris. Yeah, it's by Datathief. The original download is taken from: http://members.madasafish.com/~studiomoo/datathief.htm . There are a few more there as well. Oh, and you can also find out more about Datathief there as well. The track you're referring to is actually called "Blue (vocal mix)". From what I gathered, it won't be released (other than as an .mp3) due to its uncleared samples. Speaking of Datathief... what's the deal with their ep having STILL not been released on Orange Records? What's it been... like two years now? Is Orange even still around?
