I agree with you about Zoetrope, it is rather dull, but still nice IMO.
Actually, I think IABPOITC is a good indication of what's to come from them
and I for one can't wait.

I agree with Brian actually. I've always thought BOC were somewhat overrated
personally, in particular the fantastically patchy Music Has The Right To
Children.
Incidentally, I don't think it's necessary to "understand" an album to enjoy
it. Intellectualising music in this way is elitist bollocks IMHO and I don't
think there's anything intellectual or indeed anything to understand about
Music Has The Right To Children other than that it's electronic music which
evokes an emotional response.
I'm also not an avid collector of BOC material and only have selected
releases of theirs.
I just wanted to say that having just received a copy of In A Beautiful
Place Out In The Country I think it's one of their best releases since the
Hi Scores ep (with the exception of Zoetrope which comes across as a rather
lazy, uninteresting EP filler).
I haven't heard the same sort of praise for this ep as for their other
works. Does this mean it's not particularly highly regarded?
