Lots of people coming to London it seems. Here's a copy of a post I sent to
the 313 list yesterday, mainly about record shops:
Here's a list of my favourite record shops around town. For what you want,
you are best off visiting Smallfish and Atlas (vinyl only), then Ambient
Soho and Rough Trade. For older stuff, Reckless soho or Music and Video
Exchange Camden which are excellent second hand shops.
Selectadisc, Reckless, Sister Ray, MVE (Soho), Ambient Soho and Atlas are
all within easy walking distance of each other. Not too far to walk from
there is Rough Trade, Covent Garden but check the website as it's well
hidden in the basement of a skate shop in a little courtyard. Click on the
street names to get to a map. It's well worth finding! Also, take the time
go out to Smallfish, it's truly excellent.
