All,
Greetings all. Just thought that, as usual, I'd draw everyone's attention to
yet another fantastic release on the deFocus label.
Continuing the exemplary quality of previous releases like John Tejada's
'the matrix of us' and CiM_reference comes this new long player from +ONE
produced by none other than Plaid themselves.
Superb, eccentric electronica (can I still use that word? what does it mean
now?) with an early Plaid feel to it. Some of it is also quite reminiscent
of Plaid's own 'Not For Threes' in fact.
It's released on November 27th on CD and 2X12" (cat. no. foc357cd/lp) so I
assume the tracklisting will probably be the same on vinyl as it is on CD
perhaps minus 'Sticker' which appeared on the recently released 'Two You
See' sampler on deFocus. It also features a hidden track which happens to be
'Mayday' which appeared of deFocus' first release, the 'Do You See?' 12".
Smallfish (www.smallfish.co.uk) have copies of both formats in stock now,
incidentally.
Go buy...
