Midem is for the music industry and is generally closed. It's a lot of people running around trying to make deals and license stuff. I've never been. Sonar is a dedicated electronic music festival and every ninja that has ever been has loved it. Recently i discovered the betalounge.com have archived footage from last years sonar.
