well, txraves and idm. if you seriously think that this is low signal-to-noise i invite you to join either of those. you'll be crying for mama in 48 hours (there are others on both mother and idm that can back me up). for real, this is a discussion. these other two lists are rarely ever this good in the discussion department. lots of worthless one liners, personal attacks, non-list-related nonsense. . .so i guess in a sense my somewhat direct manner in this discussion is a result of my experience on these other lists. i can see that it's rather blunt, but this is something that's been troubling me for as long as the list CD discussions have been going on. i'd yet to see any real opposing viewpoint on the matter, so i offered one up. additionally, i took care to explain that everything that i was saying was strictly my own personal viewpoint (much of the bullshit on email lists, as i see it, comes from people stupidly trying to claim subjective opinion as fact). so, yeah, if seen some pretty amazing bullshit on lists before. i still maintain that this is miles ahead in terms of behavior and content. ------------ 1642 try 621 ------------ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
