Where are they? Not in Napster, unless I'm searching in the wrong place...

I don't think anyone would argue with this. The fact that half the people in the main room couldn't see anything AND could only hear half the sound was particularly ridiculous. It will be interesting to see Warp's explanation...

I thought Bogdan was great - it was good to have something to actually dance to. It might have been better if they'd had one room for dancing and one for chin-stroking or something.

Me too. I thought CC started off magnificently, but he'd lost his way by the time I left (about 5:20, I think). Much as I enjoyed the evening, it wasn't a patch on a Rephlex thing I went to at the Scala last June, which was cheaper, better organised and full of people dancing to great dance music. I have a few questions: Does anyone know where I can get hold of full-on "unusual" dance records - say along the lines of Bogdan's set from Saturday (his albums are a bit melodic :-) ) or the start of Chris Cunningham's set or - most of all - anything that sounds at all like Ovuca's set from the aforementioned Rephlex party 16 months ago (was anyone else there?)?. Also, if anyone knows where I can get hold of some good live IDM sets, then I'd be very grateful - I've downloaded the Autechre/Funkstorung sets recently made available via this list, and they're just wonderful. Are any of the Warp 10.3 sets other than BoC available online? What about the Lighthouse stuff? In general, is there some kind of IDM trading network? cheers, toby --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I dont know of one, but if there is, please show yourself! I've spoken with a few list members about trading, but nothing has really materialized. I have several dozens livesets Id be more than happy to trade. If anyone is interested - please contact me. --- yeah, i thought bogdan was great, don't get me wrong i enjoyed most of the sets but bogdan was great to have a laugh and go mental(sound bloke as well). The rephlex party at the scala, yeah i was there. Ovucas set was great. I think we should meet up seeing as you seem to be thinking along the same lines of myself, maybe at the next rephlex party at the end.
