I got this used today and the whole afternoon has been devoted to listening to this. The recording and performance are amazing, and "Spaceship" still floats my boat 20 years after hearing it for the first time...I saw the Glass Ensemble perform this live and was absolutely gobsmacked... http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000005J28/qid=970606913/sr=1-11/104-4681108-0175128 kent williams -- kent@avalon.net http://www.mp3.com/chaircrusher -- tunes http://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/directory.cgi?autostart=chaircrusher -- mix --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I saw the Philip Glass Ensemble on tour in 1980? Sometime back there. They did an assortment of pieces -- stuff that was on glassworks and things from Einstein on the Beach. I also saw The Photographer when that toured. They used to get good stuff at the University here ... I saw Weather Report and Tom Waits there back in the day as well, and Joan Armatrading ... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
