that's not what I heard at all. I heard he builds his own samplers out of HP scientific calculators and bits of string. and chicken wire stolen from neighboring farms. and he lives in a treehouse in Yorkshire and guards his property with a shotgun. and when he was 12 he took acid for the first time, and when he was 15 he proved Fermat's Theorem, and he has a robot, and he built the robot, and the robot's really smart, and the robot got into Harvard, and now it's going to Harvard, and then it's gonna graduate, and then it's gonna do graduate work and get a job and give all the money back to Aphex Twin. that's what I heard. g --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I believe it's all true. I've actually seen the robot a few times while walking through Harvard Square here in Cambridge. He resembles Pimpbot.
