I have these files on my hard drive, but they mysteriously stopped working. An error message says that Quicktime can't find some data that's necessary to play the files correctly. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyway, I need to download these mp3s again, so if anyone can tell me where they're at, I'd really appreciate it. Autechre--Live in Vancouver ae_1.mp3 ae_2.mp3, and on and on through ae_9.mp3 I think it was a live Vancouver performance. Anyway, some really cool person put these nine files on Files Anywhere.com with a URL, guest username, and password, so if anyone knows this info, please let me know. bstates-origami-live97.mp3 This was a live performance by some new and obscure idm group. Great stuff that I will immediately burn to a cd if I get another chance. The performance was about 50 minutes long. 000304rhawtin002-012.mp3 000304rhawtin108-118.mp3 000304rhawtin060-070.mp3 000304rhawtin119-120end.mp3 Hah! Fat chance of EVER seeing these four files again. It was a live Richie Hawtin performance during Mardi Gras. Incredible stuff that I will likely never hear again. They were posted on a website that reviewed the performance. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide. shephrd@earthlink.net | ::: ( l ---> r ) ::: "...mechanically reclaimed by autechre..." --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I can't remember where the files originally came from, but I have 002-012 and 060-070. If you can wait for about a month or so, I will be able to upload them somewhere for you.

to quote a post that was one of the first things i saw when i subbed to IDM, "Lance must be in the bathroom." :) "L'Usine ICL" is Jeff McIlwain, who has another very nice full-length on US label Isophlux as simply "L'Usine". this first one is also very very nice, and probably a bit nore tuneful and melodic than the newer one. but the l'usine sound is most definitely there :) there was also the "Coded" sampler on Isophlux (two tracks from the full-length and two new ones). then there's an upcoming 12" on Hymen, but i'm not sure of the tracklisting. hope this helps! i too look forward to more L'Usine. . . -jeff --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Aaaaaahhh!!! It iS Amazing! I have only "a pseudo steady state", what do I miss? I'm kinda shocked on how original they sound. Is there anything similar around there? I seem to have something but what do you think? from http://www.ant-zen.com lusine icl. freak ep. 12'' lp. hymen 028 we are proud to present jeff mcilwain aka l'usine with an exclusive european release on hymen & u-cover records as lusine icl. herewith he explores different styles of electronica such as dark-ambient, minimal music and idm, but doesn't limit himself to these genresa ctually there is no limit. the tracks become a trip that stands far beyond the average electronic outputs from the u.s. limited cd-version on u-cover records. Release: September 2000 Also check out the lusine releases on isophlux (http://www.isophlux.com). They are essential. A tad different than "pseudo steady state" but still amazing. -daniel: Fight Like Apes: Mad Monkey Records: http://www.madmonkey.org On Tue, 12 Sep 2000, Konstantin Minko wrote:

I've been hearing quite a bit about this project recently. I picked up a copy of the freak 12" and I think it's spectacular. Does anyone have any other recommendations of lucine icl albums to get or other artists that are similar? Rob
