yeah basically if you want to make electronic music now-a-days you gotta
use some software somewhere, it's just a question of how specialized the
OS on your computer is.
otherwise you're talking Walter Carlos analogue tape sequencers or piano
rolls hooked up to a wall of modular synth equipment and a mellotron.
