movie recommendation: but i'm a cheerleader
this was one of the funniest, sweetest, and socially meaningful films i
have seen in a long time. i won't go into too much detail about the
movie itself, but i will at least say that i was quite happy to see a
packed theater (though small) for an afternoon showing of this film in
orange county (the same county that has a history of protesting support
groups for gay and bisexual adolescents).
points of reference (maybe?): heathers, happiness, slums of beverly hills
(same actress -- which is a good thing)...
that's all, bye bye.
