Sorry for this very OT post but youre my last hope !"! Can anyone help me out here, Ive been using sounforge for a while and have been recording from CD's with no problem. However since yesterday when I try and record a sample the program doesnt seem to recognise that the music is being played and just records nothing. I think its probably a sound card problem, can anyone suggest where I begin to look to discover the problem. Any help greatly appreciated as Im going mad trying to sort it out !!! (PS. Im using a C-media card with the latest drivers / directx7) Cheers, Grant.

make sure your cd player volume is active or turned up on your soundcard controls, if your souncard has a break out box, then make sure the connection from your cd player to the in's on your box is secure... greg
