my favorites are without doubt chris de luca - unknown funkstorung - post art east flatbush project - tried by 12 well the funkstörung sounds like funkstörung, nothing spectacular there and the east flatbush is an album with 12 remixes from people like squarepusher, herbaliser, autechre.... the releases to dodge is the new sluta leta which is very bad (and it hurts to say that since they're one of the few bands coming out of sweden), and the push button objects release "half dozen" which is very boring. the first pbo ep isn't very good either, he pretty much lost it after that thing on schematic. /franz --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I'd like to echo the sentiment. chris de luca ep is GREAT. It's like his funkstorung work but the tracks are longer, less hip-hop ish and can develop more. it's way more phonem like. I don't know the other 2 releases, but yeah the sluta leta is just bad. maybe i will sell it with my skam aldus and elder(sp) ep as the when good labels go bad with vocally stuff double pack. The new PBO w. del, mr lif, and craze ep is okay. Unfortunately, true to hip hop form, the mix is all about the vocals (which isn't necessarily bad, but a different aesthetic than idm stuff). There are some nice DSP-ness things in the background tho that are there for those with a strong ear :) The 12" has the radio, album, instrumental versions and an extra beatz track, so really you're getting one song and some drum programming wankery - nothing too good imo. all things aside, the single is nice, but not worth buying doubles of :) -Gil On Thu, 23 Nov 2000, franz enmark wrote:

well, both have been postponed a bit because of pressing problems; however, they should be ready soon- no release dates are set quite yet. as far as the website, it is being worked on right now and is expected to be finished within the next 2-3 months or so. stay tuned, zak. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
