Does anyone have any dope on the forthcoming Warp Party with Autechre and Aphex Twin playing live? I had this link from Way Ahead but its a dud:
quoted 3 lines Warp Records Party - Aphex Twin, Autechre, etc.>> Warp Records Party - Aphex Twin, Autechre, etc. >> To be held at a lighthouse in the Docklands. This will go fast! >> http://www.tickets-online.co.uk/query.cgi?artist=warp%20
I haven't found anything about it on any other ticket sites or WarpNet.... BABY DIDDY --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

A spectacular event. Autechre were a revelation. It was like being inside a computer program. The amount of control they have over their music is stunning. The sounds were unworldly, with the sounds moving around in relation to each other rather than in any solid sequence. It's hard to describe, but the music felt truly alive and did very good things for me. There were a couple of technical problems, but to mention them would do a great disservice to an great event. I'll just say that there was plenty space to dance if you looked for it. The saddest thing was not being able to be in both rooms at once. The playlist was kept secret (I guess there were good reasons for this), and I don't want to look at one now, I fear for what I missed. But then, some of the best music came from anonymous DJs, so I can't complain.. v --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
