Hello again. I'm listening to "Dael" on Ae's Tri Repetae plus plus CD, and I'm thinking back to this old clip of Autechre being interviewed where they say "We like the way that words sound when they're spelled incorrectly, or rearranged". It was something along the lines of that. Anyway, that made me start thinking.....Dael could be Dale, Deal, Lead, etc.....there are tons of other songs with combinations that are significant enough to make sense. Has anyone else noticed this? Is autechre trying to create some sort of code, some sort of message? Is there any rhyme or reason that anybody's found to any of they're song ideas? Does anyone care? i have read somewhere (dont ask where) that dael was a reference to rochdale? a city in the uk where they lived/grew up, or something to that effect. my apologies for the hazy description. cl On Sat, 15 Jul 2000, William W. Henderson wrote:

you. try not to think about it to much. it'd be better for if you used your own imagination to come up w/ new and clever things to baffle peoples minds....don't mind me though. i'm just a snob w/ nothing else to write about. ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
