I am sorry, but it seems sad to me that only one person knows the four mixes that come on the select 16 LP, a new and heavily pressed (and not bad either) LP by Squarepusher. Anyways, the 4 remixes are just that, a couple of extra mixes put on a 10" (listed below) that only comes on the LP. Check out the Ceephax mix if you haven't already....yes, Andy has been taught well by Tom....must run in the family. << : What are the four extra tracks on the 10"? Because my Selection : Sixteen CD came with a little sticker that said 'Includes 4 Bonus : Mixes'. I have the UK version of the CD. I think the US one is the : same, though. The four 'bonus' tracks are, AFAIK, ubiquitous and not : actually 'bonus' at all. the um anti-greylord protection scheme prelude 10" that i have contains : a1 > Schizm Track #2 Mix a2 > 8 Bit Mix #1 a3 > 8 Bit Mix #2 b1 > Ceephax Mix (remixed by Andy Jenkinson) .. klint >> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

actually, those are the same tracks that appear as 'bonus' music on the CD. If you like CDs over vinyl, don't feel you'll be missing anything. how do you know only one person knew the four mixes? one person responded, no one else did; maybe they saw this response and didn't want to spam... anyway, it's good, but i don't think it's tom's best ever. and i like both his earlier faster stuff and his later jazzier stuff. Andy is nice. he has some nice remixes on the Chaos A.D. remixes 12" on rephlex. so anyway, unless there are indeed records of Selection 16 out there that don't have the bonus 10", i think it's established that the 'bonus' music isn't really a 'bonus' at all, except that it's on a separate disc if you buy the vinyl. i repeat, the CD includes these tracks also. -adam On Sun, 16 Jul 2000 01:29:22 EDT, Inputcodetrnsfus@aol.com wrote:
