I never like Pole albums until I play them LOUD, which is definitely the
case with this one as well-- For about a week, I was the same way about it
as you, and I also hadn't bothered listening in-store so I was pissy. But
the bass is in the body, and the clicks go round and round. (It's true.)

I don't know if it's quite as bad as it seems-- it's a stupid joke, but I
think it's a play on Wohlfahrt (German for welfare), which sounds a lot like
foalfart in english. Goofy back-translation, and voila. I might be giving
him too much credit, but it softens the abject idiocy of the song title.
Hell, maybe Wohlfahrt was the original name of the song, and some Ami or
Brit (or s. african ;) ) said, "Foal fart? What the hell are you on about?"
It's a working hypothesis, but I think it works.
