You asked for an off list reply, but I'm posting this bit of helpful info for those in the NYC area...Its funny that you mention that you're looking for a hawtin/mills type of vibe but want to avoid Twilo. While I do understand your reluctance to Twilo ( btw, for those elsewhere, Twilo is NYC's pentultimate "mega-club" ) its ironic because Hawtin is playing there later this month on a weeknight in the smaller room and its been rumored for months that Mills will have a weekly residency there ...no confirmation on that rumor, though. Anyways, Twilo can have good guests, I saw Brinkmann and Suburban Knight there last week. Check out dj Spinoza's weekly NYC area email list, see subscribe info below. His list covers all the bases. speaking of which, i checked out this flick, a contemporary adaptation of Shakepeare's "HAMLET" feat. Ethan Hawke. there was a nyc club scene with a dj in dreadlocks spinning at the decks, he sorta looked like Josh Wink ;-) anyways, i didn't catch the name of that club in the closing credits, and was wondering what club that was? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
