Theorem vs. Swayzak Great deep deep deep minimal house (as you might have guessed). Not quite the music to pack the dance floors, but more for head noddin' or drifting off. Lots of slowly evolving dark/jazzish harmonies dominate. Fans of John Beltram will dig this. ISAN - salamander This LP opens with a track that sounds like the instrumentation is a faux tuba and rubber ducks - the kind of music that would have been considered whimsical yet experimental from the earlier parts of the 20th century. The sound of this album has a very amateurish slant, like the producers are more concerned with the sound of the instruments than the music they are making. In the end this translates to VERY light hearted non-offensive electronic music, somewhere between the 70s and BoC. Oddly, the LP ends off with a vangelis-like song and then an eno-like guitar driven song..err...70s again. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
