--agree...have you heard the afrika shox thing...it's pretty well known in uk as i'm sure you know...but there's some good stuff there... --it really is "intelligent dance music" --incidentally, i saw one of the leftfellows spin here in l.a. back in october...i gave him a goofy wasted grin and he just stared at me blank-faced...;=)

The comic book Micronauts were based on a line of toys sold by a (defunct?) company called Mego (gee, I wonder...) There was an Acroyear action figure, and later an Acroyear II action figure. As a wee lad, I owned both. Of course, I owned them as a little kid who liked space toys, not as an obsessive adult hoarding them and selling them off for mad dollars on eBay, so they're long destroyed now... http://www.concentric.net/~elarse1/micront.html That first picture on the right (the dude with the huge pinwheels and the crazy P-Funk wheeled boots) is Acroyear (I). -d.w. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
