Santa brought me a CDRW for Xmas. The only problem is that it came with Adaptec Easy Creator CD software and it's not very powerful. It doesn't allow me to insert the amount of time between tracks (or lack thereof) and it seems rather simplistic all around. Does anybody know any better software that will give me a lot more latitude when burning CDRs? I've heard of CDArchitect but at $400 a pop it's way out of my league. I'd prefer shareware/freeware or anything at an affordable price. Please backchannel all responses to me. Does anybody know any better just insert some empty seconds at the end of each track you want to burn (atleast that's what i do). r/e _/.__ dalezy@atari.org __//.__/_ http://dalezy.level-d.com __/_ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I've used Nero to make mix cd's with no gaps between the tracks. For my drive (HP 7200), I have to burn to an image device first, then burn that to a CDR, but it works great. Nero has a 30-day fully featured evaluation version. -Kevin On Fri, Dec 24, 1999 at 06:43:48PM -0500, Pedro Cevallos wrote:

Just to let you know, in Easy Creator, if you hit the record button when you are ready to burn, the record properties comes up. Hit the second (I think) tab at the top of the dialog box and pick "Disk at Once" at the bottem. this with record all the tracks with no space in-between them. Then you can just add the space in some sound editing program if you want. -=GB=- Pedro Cevallos wrote:

I use CDRWin at home and have never had a problem with it.
