Just got this cd with above called: Konigsforst. Well..what can I say..one of the fucking best CDs of 1999!! THIS is beautiful, a mix between Richard Wagner,Michael Gira and Scanner with a discobeat too. I dont know anything about Gas but I will.Please recommend some of his other works. Yes, they are. Nearly any of the Voigt projects under the Gas monicker will yield similar results...and there are many. I believe he also did an installment in the 20' to 2000 series, which fits right in a s well. Peter Heide wrote:

Dettinger also has three 12"s, which I see referred to as: Blond (Kompakt) Puma (Kompakt) Totentatz (Kompakt) I'm not sure, and someone will surely correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the first two 12"s _are_ the CD. I dunno. That's just what I assumed, so I didn't buy those two 12"s. But the third one is definitely new tracks, as it just came out last week (and I'm desperate to pick it up! Why can't I live near Bent Crayon or Hardwax!?) Dettinger for me is operating in the upper echelon of Cologne, where only the Bionaut and Air Liquide reside. also there shall be a new GAS full length tentatively entitled "Pop" to be released in late March...as Lance said definitely check out his brother's Sturm project...also the new S.R.I. maxi 12" (Force Inc. 175) is reinhard voight's (sturm) best recordings to date (at least by my ears). reinhard voight is also on the upcoming Clicks & Cuts 2CD 3LP compilation on Mille Plateaux.
