Hello, This whole cd-r discussion has been quite informative for me as I will be buying a cd burner real soon now. I will be using it to put my music on cd-r so that people can actually give a listen outside of the headphone realm. So I am wondering if anyone can suggest good cd burners out there for purchase. I want a quality device here. I no nothing really about them right now. Also, what exactly is a "cd recorder"? Is this a cd burner as well or something that burns silver discs or what? Wow, that's a pretty outdated link there...last updated Jan. of '97?!? Helpful if you're trying to find info on those state-of-the-art 1x burners, I guess... Try this one instead(updated last month): http://www.faqs.org/faqs/cdrom/cd-recordable/part1/preamble.html -wash --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

It came fom my bookmarks which haven't been updated forever. I was in a rush to get out the door for work this morning and didn't have time for an extensive web search...and since the topic was about media, I figured the basics are covered there. Sorry for trying. wash@sirius.com wrote:
