can work with rigid house structures or more liberal

a little bit, but unlike a lot of the German
producers, that's not the only tool in his box. I'm a
big fan of the new LP. I think it represents some of
his best work to date, although Playhouse 18 is still
my favorite.

I think Isolee is pretty exceptional myself. I haven't heard
the "Rest" album yet, but weren't most of the tracks on his
12"s? He has some excellent ones, and some not quite as
excellent ones. I would recall Isolee, perhaps not so much
musically, but theoretically, to Ifach, which was quirky, unexpected
tech-house that some people went wild for and others didn't.
Isolee definitely has a unique and fresh sound, and some fresh
sounds work and some don't. For me, his certainly does.
Especially "Beau Mot Plage". Yikes!
Isn't Ricardo Villalobos the name of a famous classical composer?
I was listening to the midnight-five a.m. classical show on my local
NPR branch the other night, and they mentioned a composition by
Villalobos. My first thought was, "Wow, Perlon's really branching out."
Then, my second thought was something similar to "I'm an idiot."
