For any Toronto folks on the list... A certain record shop on McCaul just north of Queen St. is currently selling the Matador versions of the Warp 10 compilations even though they don't officially come out until Tuesday. I saw them there today. The price seemed pretty reasonable, too (CDN$26.99 each, I think). This store named after a flightless black & white bird that enjoys cold climates also has the Octopus Inc. CD on Kracfive which is very good, so you should buy it as well. And you should also be able to find the new Solvent CD there when it's released in a couple of weeks, which I mention only because I'm listening to a promo right now and it's out-fucking-standing. I'm going to have to back Greg and Lance and the others who have gave favourable comments on the new Suctions releases. Both the 10" compilation and the Solvent LP are excellent. Some of the best music I've heard in a while. If you haven't given Suction Records a try yet, grab these 2 releases, you won't regret it,. there's melodies and beats and a couple of robots from Canada with a few friends. ptr
