This is the first time for me to post to this mailing list. I just had to post to this one. Cheap software and computers are definitely not responsible for bad music. There has been bad music long before computers came into the picture. Computers just enable more people who want to make music able to do so. Who is anyone to say that music from anyone else is bad? I hate country music rap and metal. I can still admit that some of the people involved in making it are good at playing their instruments, but I still think it is bad music. Personal taste. No one has the right to say that any music is bad and try to put it off as being what everyone else should think. The simple fact that a person puts a song together in the first place to me is an amazing achievement. One that can be learned from and used to make better music. by the way. I like Autechre too.
