Yes indeed. I've been very happy with the few Heimelektro releases i've been able to find. The Heimelektro label and all of it's artists are from germany. You can get the full poop at the official Heimelektro website: http://www.u-stadt.de/heimelektro-ulm/ -->-Lance--- mclance@nacs.net lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

What (if anything) can people tell me about the Heimelektro label? (apparently out of Germany) I remember a Heimelektro LP coming out that was some sort of compilation, now I see on Hardwax there are two new Heimelektro LP's, apparently by two different artists. The first one got good reviews from mailorder places, but it was like $20 which I thought was a bit much to experiment. I'm thinking about checking out the new stuff, but was curious what to expect. Can anybody help? B.

Buy everything you can find from Heimelektro! I discovered them last year on a tape a friend sent me and have been in love with their sound ever since. Actually I've only heard tracks from three of their artists - lupo borax, scarcubem, and roger van lunteren but from the strenght of those tracks i would buy any heimelektro release on sight. The only problem is that i have yet to find any Heimelektro releases available in the US. So you'll have to order their releases from Hardwax or direct from the Heimelektro website. In general, the style of Heimelektro isnt exclusively electro but rather a great mix of melodic abstract electronica with a touch of experimentalism. But dont take my word for it, check/hear for yourself at the official Heimelektro website: http://www.u-stadt.de/heimelektro-ulm/ -->-Lance--- mclance@nacs.net lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
