I was at siggraph in LA (a Computer Graphics convention) a couple of days ago and I heard very interesting stuff at the convention. Ambient/IDM sounds were generated from midi signals coming from a video image. That image was coming from a car simulator, so that means that the images were the result of the interaction between the people sitting in the car and the car wheel. It's probably the first time I see sound created from video, and not the opposite. Anyways, the sound guy's name is Paul Cook, he's from Toronto. I spoke to him and he showed me a couple of CDs he released under different names and I forgot what those were. Does anybody know what they could be? Thanx Seb === Sebastien Dalphond, B. Soft.
